Voting Question: What is the difference between U.S Polo Assn & Polo Ralph Lauren?

I'm always confused about these 2 brand names. What's the differences? Like for real? I know that U.S Polo Assn (Is not a fake brand name) has notting to do with Polo Ralph Lauren, they are both different companies. U.S Polo Assn has 2 horses & Polo Ralph Lauren has 1 horse.
