Open Question: My horse got kicked HARD?

Two days ago my horse got kicked hard in the hock, and fetlock. She had a gash and was bleeding pretty badly, but the vet said she didn't have to come out. I cleaned it out and wrapped it in vet wrap. And I wrapped the rest of her leg tight with polo wraps. To stop the swelling. She is not as lame as she was two days ago.
